JENO Engine:
JENO Engine, developed by Technics, addresses jitter-induced sound distortion in digital systems. It combats timing irregularities within the master clocks used for digital-to-analogue conversion. This technology employs a noise-shaping system with a clock generator to mitigate low-frequency jitter and a high-precision sample rate converter to suppress high-frequency jitter. The combined effect is a comprehensive reduction of jitter across the entire frequency range. JENO Engine works in tandem with a high-precision Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) conversion circuit to preserve the dynamic range, resulting in faithful reproduction of music nuances.

ADCT (Active Distortion Cancelling Technology):
Technics introduces ADCT to accurately detect and eliminate distortion in the power output stage. This distortion, stemming from a speaker's counter electromotive force and voltage fluctuations, can affect audio quality. ADCT distinguishes between the speaker terminal output and the JENO output and corrects the digital signal accordingly. This technology ensures robust speaker drive, acoustic energy, low noise, precise sound imaging, and spacious sound ambiance, regardless of connected speaker types.

Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply:
The SU-R1000 utilises an Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply, a switching power supply system that maintains voltage and current stability for the digital amplifier. Unlike traditional systems, this innovation fixes the switching frequency at 400kHz, preventing fluctuation due to load changes that can introduce modulation noise. The addition of a Super Low Noise Regulator further enhances power supply stability and eliminates noise interference, resulting in optimal digital amplifier performance.

Four Independent Power Supply Units:
The SU-R1000 improves sound quality by incorporating four independent power supply units for different circuit blocks. Notably, separate power supply units are assigned to the analogue and digital circuits in the pre-amp stage, reducing noise transmission. Additionally, the right and left channels in the power amp stage, which require significant electrical power, each have their own dedicated power supply unit. This approach minimises power-line-induced interference, ensuring a high signal-to-noise ratio and exceptional channel separation.

High-grade Digital/Analogue I/O Circuit:
The SU-R1000 features a full-discrete circuit design for the phono input and analogue input sections. It ensures excellent channel separation and minimises interference between the right and left channels. Furthermore, completely balanced transmission is employed in the phono and XLR input sections for high-purity signal transmission with minimal noise. The USB input circuit incorporates high-quality components to block electrical noise and provide high-precision A/D conversion.

High Rigidity Chassis and Design:
To reduce enclosure vibrations and noise, the chassis is reinforced for rigidity. The double-deck structure separates the power amp and pre-amp stages, and steel shield plates isolate individual circuit blocks. The front panel is 10mm thick, and the side and top panels consist of 6mm-thick aluminium plates, enhancing the chassis's stability and vibration resistance. Cast iron insulators further attenuate external vibrations.

Crosstalk Canceller:
The Crosstalk Canceller function measures the crosstalk characteristic specific to each cartridge by using the calibration record's crosstalk measuring signal. It then applies reverse-correction via the built-in DSP to improve the crosstalk characteristic, resulting in more precise sound imaging and an expanded sound ambience.
