Whether you're looking for window-rattling boom or a subtle low-frequency boost, there's nothing like a good subwoofer to bring out the full range and power of your favorite music. Pioneer's decades of experience have taught them how to create great speakers, and their shallow-mount TS-D10LB sealed subwoofer enclosure lets you bring that expertise into places a 10" sub can't usually go.
Pioneer's D-Series 10" 2-ohm subwoofer gives the TS-D10LB its punch. This sub features an injection-molded polypropylene cone reinforced with aramid fiber that's made to remain stable even at high volume levels. The butyl rubber surround helps minimize distortion, and the stamped steel basket adds rigidity so the bass stays accurate. And with up to 350 watts RMS power handling, you'll have plenty of headroom to crank it up. The TS-D10LB's enclosure is sized for spots as little as 6" deep, so the bass you need will fit into trucks and smaller cars. Its carpet covering and steel mesh grille help to protect your investment and give the sub a clean, finished look.
The Pioneer TS-D10LB subwoofer enclosure features a single 10" D-series driver, capable of handling up to 350 watts of RMS power (1300 watts peak), pre-loaded in a compact, sealed enclosure designed for flexible mounting options.
The pre-installed D-series subwoofer driver features a polypropylene cone that's interlaced with Aramid Fibers during the molding process. This advanced computer-aided manufacturing process produces a subwoofer cone with low mass and high rigidity that can produce deep powerful bass.
The driver's surround is made from a specially blended butyl rubber compound that's highly durable and moisture resistant. This design provides a tight seal to the cone and basket, while keeping the cone moving in a linear direction. The butyl rubber surround helps dampen cone vibration, once the signal has changed or stopped, resulting in less distortion and a superior frequency response.
The Pioneer's innovative enclosure shape is designed for high rigidity while reducing internal standing waves. The enclosure's compact size and shape allow it to be installed under seats, in truck cabs, and can be oriented firing forward, rearward, or upwards for optimal bass tuning. The enclosure's full carpeting provides a scratch resistant surface that also helps keep in from sliding. Mounting brackets and hardware are included for a more permanent mount.
