Absolute waste of time and money.
I bought this to go with a new 2025 upgraded pioneer dab stereo. My 15 yr old aerial sometimes on occasion had trouble to pick up a decent reception. So I replaced the old dab aerial with this new all singing all dancing one while the dash was apart for the new head unit anyway.
Traced the lead all through the dash only to find once installed it barely receives anything.
For example: I drove from luton to Southall last week and I got about 15 mins of reception in an hours journey. And even then it was so bad it was barely decipherable. Like it was underwater.
I’m totally disappointed as I really only listen to the radio in my car and now after spending almost £400 to upgrade my sound system I can’t even do that. It’s a pointless piece of kit.
Better off using two plastic cups and a piece of string.
I now have no radio in my car at all. Unless I go through the rigamoral of connecting my carplay choosing an app then choosing the station.
Totally gutting to spend this much in 2025 and not get a dab signal on my stereo. Makes zero sense how it can be this bad really.
