Amazing sound quality isn't achieved without great technology, a keen ear and a constant stride for innovation. You may only have a factory fitted stereo or you could be lucky and have a little more. Regardless of the system the In Phase XTC 17.2CF speaker system delivers 320 watts of peak power, with deep rich bass, detailed midrange and sharp and crystal-clear highs. The smart adjustable tweeter design of the 6.5” speakers enable you to focus the sound on your required listening angle, giving you the presence of a higher and deeper sound stage and more detailed separation.
Thanks to the high quality powered coated chassis, which dampens distortion. The glass fibre woven cone which adds rigidity without added weight all contributes delivering a much more immersive listening experience. With all these contributing factors, the end result is a beautifully crafted, accurate and warm sound stage with endless potential in any aftermarket system.
Just compare us to speakers such as the Pioneer TS-A1670F speakers. However, the XTC17.2CF have a rotational directional tweeter with a shorter tweeter mast, which allows easier installation into vehicles with restricted space whilst maintaining a precise, tight and resolute sound.
These speakers were designed for simple installation into a wide variety of vehicles. The adapter is included can be used in over 350 vehicles! Just simply score and cut off the unused tabs, use the right holes and you're good to go!
All In Phase SPX, XTC and SXT speakers are all designed in the UK utilising over 30 years of audio experience to create a sound that is right for you.
Coaxial speakers are also know as full range speakers. As they are two way (using a two speakers rather than one) you will experience a more detailed quality sound than their dual cone counterparts. The tweeter at the centre of the cone allows higher end frequencies (treble) to be distributed out from a single point thus giving a more precise delivery. This also does not require a separate crossover to fit them as it is built in.
Glass Fibre Woven Cone, Butyl Rubber surround and Aluminium Chassis
Glass Fibre is a high mechanical strength fibre which has many applications. Mostly used when you need strength without weight, racing cars, bikes, boats, aerospace all use this technology. It is not affordable by any means. This material will offer high endurance as well as high end performance for a speaker. The 10-ounce magnet allows perfect bass response not normally heard in a 17cm speaker
Medium to High Power
Up to 75W RMS to each speaker and 320W peak power for both. Which is high for a 17cm speaker! These speakers can be run on your headunit or via a separate amplifier. However, when using with power amps we recommend to use the subsonic feature on the amplifier to reduce the subsonic frequencies as this will reduce distortion and improve bass as well as the overall listening experience.
