To create truly remarkable sound, even the greatest of head units can benefit from decent amplification. Pioneer’s well-proven GM-A4704 unit fits the bill for many such applications, offering 4 channels of impressive power – at a price that most enthusiasts can afford. A combination of great design and impressive power, the GM-A4704 amplifier gives you total installation freedom with no distortion. With a one-body heat sink and gain adjustment of up to 6.5V, you can turn your in-car audio experience into the sound staging environment that you’re looking for. It’s a versatile unit too - this 4-channel amp allows you to drive multiple speakers and subwoofers, it’s also bridgeable to power a single sub. Depending on your needs, it can produce 4 x 40W at 4 Ω, 2 x 120W when 4Ω bridged or 4 x 60 W at 2 Ω. With a frequency response of 10Hz ~ 70kHz (+0dB , -3dB) Hz and miniscule distortion of < 0.05 %, the GM-A4704 offers crystal clear clarity, particularly when combined with any of Pioneers own head units or speaker systems. All of Pioneer's GM-series amplifiers feature adjustable gain controls. This means that no matter what kind of radio is connected to this amplifier, the appropriate gain control adjustment can be made to ensure loud, clear, distortion-free music. And even if the gain control level is set improperly, Pioneer's Gain Control Caution feature will automatically reduce the amplifier's output until the head unit volume is decreased to acceptable levels. This added layer of protection helps to prevent damage from occurring to the amplifier and the speakers connected to it due to improper gain control adjustments. Variable LPF (low-pass filter) and HPF (high-pass filter) allow for adjustable frequency between 40 Hz to 500 Hz and greater car audio system flexibility according to subwoofer characteristics and personal listening preferences. The GM-A4704 has a variable LPF/HPF on Ch. B and fixed LPF/HPF on Ch. A. This amp is perfect for generating, crisp, clean high, mid and bottom end notes - getting the most out of your speakers and your music. Constant road noise makes it hard for the music to be heard clearly. But with 520 watts max. power, you'll get to hear all the words and all the notes – all of the time! Inspired By Excellence Pioneer is constantly finding ways to make amplifier technology better. Our new and improved GM-Series prove how you can add cutting edge technology and more power to your system without breaking the bank. Like all Pioneer products, these amps are fully tested to ensure that each is designed and built for performance. Higher Power Having more power isn't just about LOUD. It's also about CLEAN, getting the most out of your speakers and your music. Constant road noise makes it hard for the music to be heard clearly. But with 520 watts max. power, you'll get to hear all the words and all the notes. Variable LPF/HPF Variable LPF (low-pass filter) and HPF (high-pass filter) allow for adjustable frequency between 40 Hz to 500 Hz and greater car audio system flexibility according to subwoofer characteristics and personal listening preferences. High Capacity Switching Power Supply To suppress power supply loss, GM-Series amplifiers incorporate a large toroidal transformer and are driven using a high-speed switching MOSFET. This stabilization of power supply maintains stable playback of all types of music. Gain Control What is power without control? To accommodate the varying range of signal levels coming from today's factory and aftermarket radios, all of Pioneer's GM-series amplifiers feature adjustable gain controls. This means that no matter what kind of radio is connected to this amplifier, the appropriate gain control adjustment can be made to ensure loud, clear, distortion-free music. And even if the gain control level is set improperly, Pioneer's Gain Control Caution feature will automatically reduce the amplifier's output until the headunit volume is decreased to acceptable levels. This added layer of protection helps to prevent damage from occurring to the amplifier and the speakers connected to it due to improper gain control adjustments. Bringing The System Together What, you DON'T own a Pioneer headunit? Well, we won't hold it against you. In fact we'll even help you build onto your system. The GM-A4704's speaker level inputs allow you to connect your OEM unit (or any unit that doesn't have the typical RCA-type inputs) without having to buy add-on adapters. SO, the install goes faster, you save money, and you've got a Pioneer amp in your vehicle.
